Severe Back Pain After a Job Injury
I was Injured on 6/03/2002 on the job, Since then I have been to doctor after doctor that the worker compensation carrier sent me to and to this day none of those doctors have told me what's wrong with my back.
I have been Treated like a subhuman by these doctors, accused of lying was told to lose weight and get on with my life, I was told to take care of another unrelated medical condition I have Diabetes, and my problems will go away.
(Sickening isn't it? )
I live everyday in pain some days are better than others, I have trouble walking more than 2 blocks, without experiencing alot of pain and weakness in my lower back, I can't wash my face or dress myself if it involves bending over.
My marriage isn't the same, I am grumpy, moody, and unpleasant my wife has told me, because of what I have to deal with everyday of my life.
This workman comp. doctors are for the birds this system is set up it seems to protect the ins. company I don't understand why this is.
I have just started treating with a neuro. and so far he seems like he cares enough about me as a person, and has seen the results of my MRI's that he has ordered other test's to determine exactly where the problem disc's are, I have 5 total, that are either herniated. or bulging. Hopefully this doctor will get to the bottom of my problem and offer me some sort of help with this pain.
Well thanks for letting me vent my frustrations. This site is a great idea my hat is off to the designer
