Is Worker's Compensation Compulsory? Yes

Are Waivers Permitted? Yes

Numerical Exceptions: None.

Choice of Physician: Employee initially chooses the physician. Upon referral to a certified managed care plan, the MCO chooses the physician.

Waiting Period For Comp Benefits After Injury: 32 hours (to take into consideration shift work) or 4 days loss of wages, whichever is less.

Compensation is retroactive if disability continues for what period of time from the date of injury? No provision.

Attorney Fees Permitted: 20% - 25%, rule
