Complicated Recovery From a Back Injury
After 3 years of this inhuman humiliation so called "Workers Compensation" its hard to figure out where to begin. Since my brain has been fried by a serious bout of Bacterial Meningitis I received from a diagnostic Mylogram last year. I am on my 36th month of this living nightmare that I would not even wish on the devil himself!
Its a joke how you are shuffled around from Doctor to Doctor, your Attorney has to file petition after petition for proper treatment to the insurance company, then wait, wait, wait until they decide if they can approve the treatment, not to mention the lost wages an the insulting bi-weekly check that can't even buy beans and rice.
Workers Compensation is an insult to the American worker, it mostly benefits the Attorneys and the Insurance companies.
Most states are lenient on the Insurance companies, I suppose that is because of the "Special Interest" monies these companies shower on Legislators.
My suggestion is to privatize the system and get it out of the hands of the states so that it can not be influenced by special interest, it should be made up of people that have had to go through this grief so it may be handled with humanity and compassion, as you can never imagine how bad it is unless you have to go through it!
