Workplace Fall Blamed on Diabetes
In November 2001, I put on my notice of injury that I was completing my second prox id patrol round and fell down the stairs because I was dizzy.
I have diabetes.
Now the Carrier is saying that I do not have a claim because of the dizziness and the diabetes.
Also, they postponed my mediation which was coming up this month of November 2002.
And now they have the attorney that is representing me afraid because he is thinking that the diabetes is the problem.
I thought that by telling the truth about any of my illnesses that I have, would be considered in this worker's compensation war.
As you can see, I was wrong.
