Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Caused By A Fall At Work

Get this. My boss's wife even saw me fall and went into a panic. My doc said I need surgery, for it is severe carpal tunnel in both hands. My hands hurt all of the time, they feel swollen, numb, and painful when I awake. Many times they wake me. I am taking much medicine for pain.

Work Comp, and my former employer, who fired me, are fighting it all the way. The sad thing about the whole event, is I have a paper signed by the bosses wife, that I was going on salary, after she had heard about the claim, it became null and void and that somebody else wrote and posted it. They are trying to claim that I was not doing my job.

I do have an attorney and hopefully that maybe it can be resolved. So I am unemployed without any money coming in.

We are trying to survive on my husbands disability (he was a former police officer and was injured in the line of duty.) It (the work comp issue) has put us in a hardship. We are keeping our faith, and making it along together very well. We sometimes don't maybe know if we are going to have enough food or not.

It will be very difficult for me to become employed with these hands that I have. So Merry Chrismas Workmans' Comp. Ours is, because of our faith, which I do not believe these people have. How could they celebrate what Christmas is, and do what they do?

Thanks for listening.
