Back Injury To A Semi Driver
I was a Semi-Truck driver. I was injured after I was ordered by my supervisor to help a mechanic fix my truck that had broken down several times in less than a week.
I lost all feeling in my legs. I was taken to the emergency room in West Virginia. Then drugged up and sent home to Kansas on a bus. My injury occurred on 11/13/01.
Just yesterday I was able to get a Kansas judge to order the company to pay for my medical care.
Medical care I have not been able to get because the trucking company I worked for fired me after my injury and refused to pay for medical care even though I was injured on the job.
My attorney says there could be another 3 years of this before I see a dime in money for lost wages and pain and suffering.
