Serious Neck Injury At Work

After 11 years of service as a food distributor I ruptured a disc in my neck. I attempted rehab for over a year, but it was of no use. I was let go by my company and was told I was to take the first job that was offered to me with in my limitations specified by the companies neuro-surgeon.

I went from making 42 dollars an hour to 9 dollars an hour. After 3 months of struggling to perform an extremely easy job as a civil surveyor the insurance company stopped my payments.

My wife was forced to go to work so that we would not lose our home. I re-injured my neck several times, once by turning around to seat-buckle my child into her seat. I was in emergency 3 times in 10 months.

It has been 16 months since Risco has made a payment towards my disability, I have made every effort to end this nightmare they have put me and my family through. My wife has had 2 panic attacks, one of which put her in the hospital.

The "system" of pre-trial after pre-trial as exhausted all of our financial savings, my home can't be refinanced any more and our credit is maxed out. The government here in Michigan allows the insurance company to destroy the families first, ask questions never!

We our expecting our third child, GOD gives us blessings, we don't question why. But now the future of my family has never been more uncertain, the only thing that is for certain is that it's business as usual for the insurance company, destroy more lives, destroy more hard working families, collect more premiums, get more money to the politicians retirement fund.
