Fighting To Get Workers Comp Benefits

I had a disability policy with Hartford Insurance in 1997.

I was injured in my shoulder at work, denied a first report of injury and fired before the results of my MRI confirming injury.

I fought them until they settled with me in 1999.

I was injured again at another job and the same game is being played.

In the process of all of this I lost my house, custody of my kids, and have developed a permanent disability.

I have won a financial hardship early hearing but I still have to live with no income.

I have been forced into public assistance.

Even the judge asked them why they weren't paying me such a small claim. They say they don't owe it.

Now I have to suffer four more months of poverty, not knowing what will happen to me.
