Job Injury Causing Herniated Discs

After a 2 year battle, (without income) I won my case. It was all about a dispute between two insurance carriers from two different incidents over who should pay. In the meantime, nobody paid. I find the whole experience unacceptable.

When they deny your claim, you go without medical care unless you can pay it yourself. You will find yourself unable to do this after they have fired you. I made it only with the help of a great lawyer, the support of my husband and the grace of God. I trained for and worked at a career I loved for 12 years and it is no longer an option for me. I find myself needing to enter a new career at age 42 starting from a disadvantaged place to begin with.

Now the Insurance Company wants me to apply for work with temporary agencies. For exactly what job, I wonder? I have only been a nurse and I don't know of any nursing position that fall under sedentary restrictions. If they really want me re-employed then I need to go back to school. That is what I am doing whether they like it or not. I have no intention of checking receipts at Walmart or something like that after enjoying a professional career and having it snatched from me through no fault of my own.

I recently went through an unbelievable IME, but that is another long story. When will this all go away?
