Fall Into A Steam Kettle At Work
I slipped & fell inside a large steam kettle suffering severe burn injuries..... The owner called for an ambulance...and I spent 3 yrs , in & out of Hospitals. I spent 6 months at a Hospital affiliated with Johns Hopkins in MD.
It has been 18 years..... then I was sent to several Doctors ...for "Independent Medical Exams".... of coarse they billed their Doctors to my wife's Medical Ins.! The Insurance Co. finally found a Doctor to sign the "Affidavit of Recovery"..... he performed a 7 min physical.....and signed the recovery paper; which was completed (with diagnosis & signature) over a year previously!!
I missed an appointment a year earlier......so they had the full documents completed....before I was ever seen by that Doctor.
However,...because of the "Supersedeous" order... my benefits have been terminated until the "Hearing" .... but it's been almost a year....and I don't have any money coming in.....and I can't work anywhere..... But, I won't be around soon..... I give up... I can't work..and I can't fight ...any more!
