Firefighter Injured On The Job
After reading other stories you don't feel alone. I was injured fighting fire drug by a dozier a mile and half over trees. And saved another's life. And all I got was the shaft.
Doctors kept telling me I had Carpal Tunnel. I had 3rd degree burns all over. Sent me back to work picking up 100 lbs.
Finally I had MRI and found disks herniations and took off work forever. But by then it was to late to get benefits.
I lost 50,000.00 a year to get 12,000.00 in Social Security. Dr. give me a 13% IR that I have fought even with other Dr. reports.
Now that appeals is over a lawyer wont touch you. Like you have the plague. There starting to deny all medical benefits and you cant do any thing about it.
I don't know where to turn, I lost everything saving a few trees for a timber co. and they have there millions while an injured worker barely can eat.
Where is the justice? The little guy doesn't have a chance. Good Luck to anyone who gets injured in the state of Texas!
