Broken Hand From Drill Accident
I broke my hand Friday at work. I was drilling with a Dewalt drill and the drill bogged down, the safety switch kept the drill running, the drill twisted around my hand the cord of the drill kept wrapping around and twisting my hand until the thing unplugged itself.
My boss wanted me to wait until Monday to go to the doctor because he said his workman's comp was not in order, I have a house full of kids and I made it till Sunday when I finally just had to go .
Sure enough my hand was broken . I can't believe the way I have been treated since I went on to the doctor Sunday.
My boss will not even speak to me . And he has already hired some one else part time. Now I know when I go back to work he will probably fire me as soon as he can. What is a body to do.
Gosh I waited from Friday morning until Sunday evening because they said I couldn't go because of their insurance but I'm not an animal needed healthcare and should have been taken Friday. Animals get treated better than did. and because I couldn't run the drill I got sent home at 12:30 that day after working another 4 hours loading trucks with this injury. So you tell me.
