RSD Causing Constant Pain After Injury At Work

In 1987, I was injured while working as an insurance agent out in the field. I thought it would be temporary, but it has been for life. My injury's final diagnosis five years ago was Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy. The state does not recognize this so it is downsized to back and leg spasms and sprain.

I am in constant pain, some times are so bad I lie in bed and cry. I am on strong narcotics that help me to live some kind of life, but I worry about my liver and kidneys.

I made very good money when I worked. I suffer from severe depression and take medication for that too. I am so bored and I would love to go back to work. Dream on.

Now, it is time for my final settlement, which my lawyers did not do much about. They said the laws had changed so much that I would be lucky to get anything.

In order to get my $25,000, I have to sign off on my medical which means they will never pay for anything again. Plus, my lawyer has drawn up a different settlement so they can take more than the 20%. I don't think that's right.

Injured body and soul from West Virginia.
